We have parking on two sides of the building, one on the south side of the building and one on the east side. The parking lots are accessible via either Mooresville Highway or Tiger Boulevard. After parking, the main entrance is on the southeast corner of the building, but there are also two other entrances on the south side of the building. Services will take place in the auditorium. Please ask for help locating the auditorium if needed, as there will be men stationed throughout the main hallway and other members around as well, and we will make sure that you are welcomed and find where you need to go.
Singing will take place throughout the service. We sing to praise God with our voices. We do not use mechanical instruments, as the New Testament does not instruct us to accompany our singing with instruments. Come join us as we sing praises to the Lord!
Praying is an act of worship. Through Prayer, we are given the opportunity and privilege to speak to God. We are led in prayer throughout service, where we can thank the Lord God for our blessings, praise His greatness, honor Him, and ask Him to be with us and others through trials that we experience.
A sermon will be given, with the message being rooted in the Holy Bible, God’s Word. The basis of the teachings you will hear will center on God’s Word with an emphasis on how we should apply His message in our lives. The Gospel is the Truth. “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.” (John 3:16)
All are Welcome!
Following the Preaching and the Invitation, we participate in the Lord’s Supper. We currently use portable communion cups, which can be picked up outside of the doors to the auditorium before Worship. If you forget to pick one up before service, as we begin, a reminder will be given, which you will then only have to raise your hand and someone will gladly bring you a communion cup. “And as they were eating, Jesus took bread, blessed and broke it, and gave it to the disciples and said, “Take, eat; this is My body.” (Matthew 26:26) “Then He took the cup, and gave thanks, and gave it to them, saying, “Drink from it, all of you. For this is My blood of the new covenant, which is shed for many for the remission of sins.” (Matthew 26:27-28)
After the Sermon, an Invitation will be offered. The Holy Bible teaches us that we must be baptized for the remission of our sins. “Peter replied, “Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.” (Acts 2:38) If you need to come forward to be baptized, or for the prayers of our congregation, please come forward to the front row of the auditorium during the Invitation song that is sung immediately after the Invitation is offered, and the minister will be there to assist you.
A monetary offering can be made during your visit, as we give as an act of Worship. The funds are used to continue to help spread the Gospel throughout not only our community, but also the world.
