Dwayne Hart began his Christian walk by being baptized at a
gospel meeting at Cane Creek Church of Christ in the late Seventies. He has been a pivotal member of Westvue since
joining the congregation of Westvue Church of Christ in September of 2013. Spiritual Leadership: Dwayne
has led the congregation of Westvue in many ways. In addition to his ongoing service to the
Church during Worship, Dwayne was appointed a deacon in 2020, where he helped
lead this congregation through his dedication and contributions to the areas of
Building and Worship, to name a few.
Areas of Service: Dwayne
guides several key areas of service for the Westvue Church of Christ in his
position as elder. He helps to oversee
the Building work, ensuring proper maintenance and care are given. Dwayne also leads in Evangelism and Worship, assisting
as needed in Services and sharing the Word of God to others. Dwayne also focuses his attention on the
Young Adults area.
Education and Career: Dwayne
began his work-life early, farming since the age of 13. He graduated Marshall County High School in
1982. After high school, Dwayne attended Shelbyville Vocational-Technical School. He worked at Stanley Tools as a tool and dye
maker, progressing then to machinist and maintenance at Moon Pencil
Company. Dwayne is currently employed as
a machinist / maintenance worker at
Musgrave Pencil Company.
Family: Dwayne
embodies family values in all aspects of life, being an example of Christian
love. He has been married to his wife,
Brenda, for nearly 40 years. They have
three grown daughters, Megan (Adam) Fullerton, Becca (Nathan) Taylor, and
Madalyn. Dwayne and Brenda have four
grandchildren, Emmalyn, Beauman, and Walton Taylor, and Wayne Fullerton.

Tony Matthews
Tony
Matthews is a dedicated and faithful member of the Westvue Church of Christ.
Tony's journey as a servant of Christ began when he was baptized at Westvue in
1967. Spiritual Leadership: In
2003, Tony was selected to serve as an elder. Prior to stepping into the role
of an elder, Tony served as a deacon overseeing the Education program for many
years and helping with many other areas of work.
Areas of Service: Tony's
involvement at Westvue Church of Christ spans various areas. He plays an
instrumental role in ensuring the upkeep and maintenance of our church
building, ensuring it remains a welcoming and functional space for our
congregation. Furthermore, he invests his heart and time in guiding and
supporting the Young Adults Ministry. Additionally, Tony takes on the vital
responsibility of overseeing building security, ensuring the safety of our
church family.
Education and Career: Tony
graduated from Marshall County High School in 1972. Following his graduation,
he demonstrated his commitment to service by enlisting in the Tennessee
National Guard, where he served diligently from 1972 to 1980. He then
transitioned into a long career, working as a machinist at the Faber Castell
Pencil Factory for 32 years until its closure in 2009. Subsequently, he joined
Griffin Cook and Sons Plumbing and Supply in 2010, where he continued to
contribute his skills and work ethic until his retirement. Even after
retirement, he remains engaged, working part-time.
Family: Tony's
personal life is a testament to the values of love and dedication that he
embodies. He and his wife, Jeannette, have celebrated over 50 years of
marriage. Together, they have raised two wonderful daughters, Jaime (married to
Danny Morgan) and Carrie (married to Joel Schwartz). Tony and Jeannette are
also proud grandparents to three grandchildren: Matthew, Micah, and Maggie
Morgan.
Elder
Dale Reich was baptized at the Church of Christ in Chino, CA
in December of 1979. He has been an
active member of the Westvue Church of Christ since moving to Tennessee in
2021. Spiritual Leadership: Dale
was heavily involved in the Chino Congregation in California. He attended business meetings that were
crucial to the continuation of the Church.
He taught Bible classes that spanned from children to adults for over 20
years. Dale held positions of the
Treasurer at Chino for over 10 years and of the Education Committee for nearly
18 years. Also among his works, he
organized special events, attended many lectureships hosted by various Churches
of Christ, and worked with the World Video Bible School. He has experience in organizing Area Wide
Youth Group Events, organizing and running Church of Christ Youth and Family
camps, and working with local Children’s Home.
Areas of Service: Dale
helps to drive our Benevolence work, ensuring that the Westvue Church of Christ
helps those in need. Dale leads and is
responsible for the Fellowship and Visitation efforts, ensuring that care and
community are maintained.
Education and Career: Dale
graduated High School in 1970, and after, he went on to attend college. Professionally, Dale was a Heavy Equipment
Owner / Operator and General Building Contractor for 42 years, in addition to
being a Commercial Truck Driver for 6 years.
Family: Dale’s
display of his love for family is a great example to all of us. He has been married to his wife, Linda, for
over 50 years, as they were married in 1972.
They raised two daughters, Shannon Williams and Valerie Hernandez. They have ten grandchildren, four of which
live in Tennessee.

Mike Whitehead
Mike
Whitehead has attended Westvue since 1990 and has been a member since 1991
after his baptism by Brother Vinton Morgan.
Spiritual Leadership: In
2020, Mike was honored with the responsibility of serving as an elder at
Westvue. Mike's commitment to Westvue has been multifaceted, spanning several
roles and responsibilities. He served as the Worship Involvement Minister from
1993 to 2002. From 2002 to 2019, he took on the role of Youth Minister, guiding
the church's youth in their spiritual journey during crucial formative years.
Areas of Service: In
his role, he has been overseeing the following areas of church work: Education,
Evangelism, Worship, and Youth. Mike is also the committee chairperson for
Family Bible School. In addition, he serves as sound control operator and
livestream operator. Mike's dedication to his church family extends beyond his
role as a spiritual leader. He has long been a teacher, sharing his knowledge
and faith with others. He has taught Sunday School classes for middle school
and high school students for many years, and currently, he teaches an adult
Sunday morning class.
Education and Career: Mike
is a lifelong resident of Marshall County and graduated from Cornersville High
School. In 1989, he earned a Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics from Tennessee
Tech University. Later, he pursued a Master's Degree in Instructional
Leadership from Tennessee State University. He worked in industry for 13 years,
full-time youth ministry for 3 years from 2002-2005. In 2006, he pursued and
achieved his teaching certification and taught high school math in Marshall
County schools for 9 years before transitioning to postsecondary education in
2015 at Tennessee College of Applied Technology (TCAT) Pulaski. He's been
serving as the president of the school since 2019.
Family: Mike's
devotion to his family mirrors his commitment to his church family. He has been
married to his wife, Susan Whitehead, for 33 years. They are proud parents to
two children, Bryan and Kyleigh, and loving grandparents to four grandchildren.
Mike's family has been a source of strength and support throughout his journey,
further emphasizing the importance of faith and family in his life.
Elder
Tony Williams has been an active member of Westvue since
joining the congregation in 2015. Tony
was baptized in 1995 at Odd Fellows Hall Church of Christ in Pulaski, TN. Spiritual Leadership: Tony
has taken up many roles in the Church as a leader. He regularly leads singing at Westvue. Tony also teaches Sunday School and Family
Bible School classes. He has twice
embarked on Mission Work to the Navajo Reservation. Tony has also served, prior to becoming an elder,
as a deacon at Westvue Church of Christ.
Areas of Service: As
an elder, Tony oversees several areas of service. Serving over Benevolence, Tony leads efforts
to further the work of the Church through means of kindness and support to both
our members and the community at large.
He also serves as a head of Education, with not only teaching but also
guiding the classes and programs Westvue offers. Tony helps lead Fellowship and Youth as well.
Education and Career: Tony
graduated from Cornersville High School.
He went on to attend Pulaski Vocational School, focusing on the
disciplines of electrician, machine shop, and electronics. His career spanned 47 years in maintenance,
with the last combined 15 years being a Maintenance Supervisor at CKNA and
Meiwa Industries. He also served in the Navy from 1974 - 1978, aboard the USS America. Tony is currently
retired, and he dedicates his time to his family, the Church, and his
community.
Family: Tony’s
dedication to his family is an inspiration.
Tony has been married to his wife, Melissa, for 45 years. They have two sons, Brian and Brandon. In addition to their children, Tony and
Melissa have four grandchildren, Kolten, Laura, Levi, and Anna. Tony extends that love to others, displaying
the spirit of family to any and all.
